RENOVATION OF DEMO CENTRE
In the summer of 2022, Sobatech is adding the latest developments in the field continuous mixing to their demo centre.
At Sobatech’s testing centre a fully automated continuous dosing and continuous mixing system is available for product testing. The testing facility is equipped with several solid and liquid ingredient dosing options. The dosing systems are based on the Loss-in-Weight principle.
Also, a large variety of continuous mixing tools are available. The dimensioning of the mixer tools are based on the desired product group that the customer would like to produce. The testing facility includes twelve different continuous mixing tools. The contra-rotating tools range from extreme low shear to high shear mixing. Based on a manual pre-test of the product, the correct mixing tooling will be installed in the continuous dough mixer.
Besides that, the testing facility is equipped with a batch mixer (for reference purposes), discharge belts, manual sheeters, several forming options and an industrial oven. The test will help you to identify the advantages that are meaningful to your process. For example: greater quality consistency and reduced labor costs. Also, you will learn more about food safety and energy control.
Sobatech can provide the theoretically calculated dough temperature and power needed for mixing the required product. This calculation is based on the ingredient and final product temperatures. After the test, an extensive test report including the system parameters and results will be provided by the Sobateam.
